I have no idea of the first question. But I can answer your 2nd question.
Yes, you can send document as an attachment inside the word document.
Go to >> Insert >> Object >> Create from file >> Click Display as Icon >>
and [Browse] the document that you want to attach it.
Also you can rename the attachment as you wish by clicking CHANGE ICON.
