It is difficult to identify the solution without knowing which particular error message you're getting and which variant of Office 2013 you're using.

Have you tried running Word, for example, in safe mode? To do this:
1. Select Run from the Windows Start menu.
2. Type winword.exe /a (you must insert the space before the /a).
3. Click OK.

For some possibilities related to the Microsoft Office Click-to-Run facility, see: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/wo...101850567.aspx

Alternatively, if the error message is like:
Please wait while windows configures Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013
disable the Windows Search Service before running the office 2013 application so it can complete its installation. To do this:
• Un-install Windows Search (via Programs & Features in the Windows Control Panel) then reboot.
• Launch any Office 2013 application and let the installation complete, reboot again.
• Reinstall Windows Search.
