I believe I've eliminated the server as causing the problem. the email account works properly with a second computer.
I purchased the software on-line and received the installation disk and product key by post. I installed with no problems, and activated. I have since found out that this is a Retail version distributed by an individual having apparently purchased a block of product keys for multiple installs.
In fact, my purchase was for 2 installs which originally functioned OK.
Tried to remove and reinstall only the Outlook app, now get message that
file xxxx is missing. I now have the Office 10 Pro Plus suite with all app's
except the one I use most!
I emailed the person/vendor I purchased from, and as more or less expected, got no reply.
I'm new at the forum business, so please excuse my ignorance.
