Thankyou Macropod and sorry but this exactly the answer I get everywhere and no one is able to give me an absolute answer!

I have no intention of spending good money upgrading to an unsuitable version for my needs but am beginning to lose the will to live trying to get what I consider to be an answer to a reasonable question?????

My problem is I have built specific documents/spreadsheets for my invoicing needs and certainly don't want to go backwards. The new PC which I'm moving onto is now running Windows 8.1 successfully and I now need to upgrade to a newer Office package - if anyone out there can help, I'd be really grateful?
