I think I'm glad Word doesn't do that. Seriously. Single words spread out just so you can fill an entire line are horrid. But, if that's what you want, you can use Ctrl-Shift-J (distribute text) or you can play with the word's character spacing, via Font|Advanced. Just don't ask me to read it...
