All folders display their contents correctly from within Windows Explorer. I can change file display characteristics, such as showing file extensions, and fire off Word and Excel from within Explorer. Once I am within Word, Excel, or Outlook (using attach file), the file details disappear...only icons remain, as in the screenshot in my first post. One odd thing: Pictures will display, but not Word or Excel details, or folder names...just icons.

I tried System Restore to 11/13/2013, a date before 11/15/2013 when the display was OK. This resulted in two balky restarts, and a Startup Repair cycle getting me back to todays date (11/30/2013).

I've noted that there were many Windows 7 and Office 2007 Updates on 11/19/2013. They all installed successfully, but that is also the same date that the file details problem first appeared.

Other than the file display problem, Office 2007 is working fine...
