I have to agree. It is quite feasible to work in OpenOffice (or LibreOffice) and then (assuming one has Word as well) make a final version in Word if a third party requires it in Word. Heck I still use Word 2002 for real production work. It is set up to match my work flow and I see no valid reason for 2010, never mind 2013.
Mind you, I never use SkyDrive.
