Default Sharing data between Office applications

Hi,

I was wondering if there was a way to share information between several Office applications. For instance, have a certain passage of text in a Word that I can use in another application. Any changes made to the text is updated in all locations.

It is obvious I would need some sort of central location for storing the information. Does anyone have any ideas?
