Unhappy Navigating back after clicking a cross-reference or citation

Hi There,

I have a long thesis document with lots of cross-referenced figures, tables and headers (and also EndNote cite-while-you-write citations--hopefully the answer for these will be the same as for the others). If I want to look at the figure I'm cross-referencing in the text, I simply click on the cross-reference (i.e. on "Figure 3.1" when I'm saying "see data shown in Figure 3.1") and it takes me there.

But how do I get back!? This can be a real pain if I accidentally click on a cross-reference that's a hundred pages earlier than the cross-reference itself. Sometimes I can simply scroll back to it, but often I have to spend a minute or two finding my way back.

Is there a simple keyboard shortcut that can do this for me--i.e. basically navigate back to the original cross-reference? I've tried searching for an answer without luck.

Many thanks,
Madasafish
