Of course my post here had to be about something serious I couldn't google (oh I've googled so much my brain wants to die).

To begin with:
OS: Windows 7 x64 Ultimate
App: Microsoft Office 2007

Anyho. My problem consists of an Exchange account that hasn't been fully configured. Since the account hasn't been fully configured, I get an error message and a hopeless option which doesn't allow me to add the additional settings.

After a total reinstall of MSO 2007, the damn error occurs again:

"The connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action."

Alas removing MSO 2007 and any additional reference in Windows 7 hasn't helped.

Most of the forum posts about this problems, are either resolved in XP or Vista. Now, you may think "He must have not read the whole solution to the problem since Vista and Windows 7 are quite similar". And I can say right away: the control panel in Vista and Windows 7 are not similar .. at all (trust me, I have a copy of Vista in the shelf).

What I want to achieve is:
Resetting the outlook account setup or removing the Exchange account reference.

However, I cannot seem to find out where the reference of the exchange account is set. It's not in the registry, nor in the appdata folder in the c:\users\<youruser>\appdata: local, roaming or LocalLow

I'm not talking about the *.pst or *.ost file, but whatever application or setup that stores my mail references.

I've read that you can create a new userprofile to solve the problem, but that's not an option since I have loads of settings which has taken alot of time to get running properly.

Vista has a Mail option in the control panel, however, I can't find it in Windows 7. Also I reckon there's no 32 bit control panel either.

I'm going nuts!
