find and navigation dialogue in Word 2010 and higher
In later versions of Word (at least 2010, maybe also 2007, I don't know) the Find command (CTRL+F) moves the focus to a navigation panel.
To get the old fashioned find dialogue (now called "advanced find"), I have to click on a little arrow and select that advanced find.
But in most cases, that's the find I want to use. And I don't want to use the mouse. Also, I don't want the navigation pane to pop up, it takes up space that I need.
So is there a way for me to remap CTRL+F or assign another key command to get the advanced find dialogue in one go? (Other than typing CTRL+G or CTRL+H and then typing ALT+Z to get to the find tab.)
And if I'm in the navigation pane anyway, is there a key command that can close it (if the focus is in the text)?
