Default Incoming Mail Problem

I was having a lot of problems on my computer so I backed up MS Outlook and put it on a USB drive. Then I reformatted my Hard Drive. Everything worked OK after I reloaded all the software except for MS Outlook.
When I restored MS Outlook data it created all my folders on the left under "Outlook Data File"
Since I had reloaded MS Outlook, I had to set up a new account. When I clicked send/receive, nothing happened, then I discovered at the bottom of my folders on the left side of the screen a new folder with my email address on it and they were new inbox, send, and a few other folders. All of the new email goes there.

How do I get my new email to download into the group of folders under "Outlook Data File" using my old folders?

And can I get my new email, some 700 pieces to go to the folders in "Outlook Data File"?

Thanks
George
