Excel Mail merge

I'm creating a letter to our customers and I'm using the mail merge function. Now I'm having some difficulties which I hope you guys can help me out with.
The excel database shows all of the articles we have sold over the years. These items have unique serial numbers, a general description and you can see the buyer (including adress, client number and so on).
My problem is that multiple items can be attached to the same buyer id. So each item is creating a different letter. This means some customers can receive up to 50 letters.
I want to sent one letter, with all of the 50 items they own.
Anyone with the solution?
