Default Question and answer cards

Hi

I need some help but not sure if what I want is best done in Word or another application!

I want to create cards with the question on the front and the answer on the back. I want them to be printed on A4 paper with 16 cards per page (landscape). The pages will be printed in duplex so the questions would run from Q1 to Q4 on the first line and the answers would have to run from A4 to A1 in order to match up with the correct question when printed. I want to build up a relatively large database of several thousand questions and answers so need a system that is easy to add to and to make amendments in.

Ideally I want to be able to type the questions and answers next to each other (ideally in a word or excel document) for ease of reference but then to either export to the printing document or so that when I print it will automatically rearrange them so that the print with the correct 16 questions on the front of the page and the corresponding answers on the back.

As the database grows it would be very helpful to be able to select the questions (and answers) I want to print, for example questions 1 to 16 or 17 to 32.

Each of the 16 boxes will need a small padding area all the way around to allow for cutting space and it would be helpful if the table had borders as cutting guides.

I would be really grateful for any help or tips on how to achieve this. Thanks.
