Can we stick to the issue. This is not about creating PDF (at least I think it is not), as it is very easy to make a PDF from a Word document. The post mentions uploading. Once a Word document is made into a PDF uploading it is NOT going to change anything. It sounds like - and correct me if I am wrong - the upload CAUSES a change.

First of all, the link was not posted for you but, for the OP. As the title of the link implies "
Creating an E-Book in Word and PDF", I believe it does "stick to the issue". Now, if it helps the OP, I do not know. That is why I said it "may be useful to you" (speaking to the OP).
So, take (what appears to be) your condesending tone elsewhere. I could care less.
