Paul, it seems the issue is with Word 2013, and you caused me to go farther than I have ever been before!

I did change the size of the blinking cursor from 1 to 2 and it worked! I am once again a happy Word user.

Here are the steps.

Snip it does not show, however, you can do it!!!!!

Set the thickness of the blinking cursor: to whatever you desire. Try any number you want, however, 4 is rather think, and 1 (default) is not visible in Text Boundaries in Word!

However, 2 looks so normal! I would suggest using 2 but not much larger! 1 does not show in Text Boundaries in Word 2013, but "2" does!
