There's no simple way to disable the keyboard or the relevant keys only without kiosk mode. You would need to write complex remapping code and even then probably need to restart the PC for it to take effect so not really useful.

Kiosk mode doesn't actually disable the mouse just "on click" events so it would be possible to have triggered animations.
