PPT2007....

Does anyone know of a way to associate different hyperlinks with different elements of a PowerPoint chart? I have a stacked bar chart where each stack represents data for a different year. The briefer would like to be able to click on the 2007 year's bar and go to a slide that summarizes issues for 2007, click on the 2008 bar and go to a different 2008 slide, etc. Actually, they'd like to be able to click on the different pieces of the stack if possible, but would settle for one link per stack. It seems that you can insert a hyperlink for the chart object as a whole, but not for the data elements. Any help would be greatly appreciated. And of course, they need the completed briefing in two days! I'm open to, and frankly expect, a VBA solution....
