I am running MS Word 2003 11.5604

Here is the error I am having and how to recreate the error..
1. Create a new document in MS word
2. Type anything in "test test"
3. Close word

It will not prompt for me to save at all. I've done extensive research on this and have not been able to come up with anything. I've read up quite a bit on modifying normal.dot but it did not seem to do the trick and that to me seemed more so user specific where this is a computer wide issue.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
