Thanks for the responses.

I found this solution in another forum which, although not exactly what I was after, does eliminate the right margin emptiness:

File > Options > Advanced > Show document content > Show text wrapped within the document window

How can you say that Draft view "gives you the same basic view as the Outline view"? I wonder if I am not using the views correctly because it seems to me that much is lost when not in Outline view. For example:

• Levels indented
• Content can easily be collapsed and expanded
• All headings at a given level can easily be viewed simultaneously
• Large sections can easily be relocated
• etc.

As far as I know, all of that is lost in switching to Draft view or any other view. In fact, I can't remember ever using Draft view. I'm either in Outline (most of the time) or Print Layout view, thus my comment regarding if I am not using or understanding views correctly.
