Default Multiple TOCs in one Document

Hi,

I'm having a problem insterting multiple TOCs into one document, despite reading numerous resources online.

Basically, I have a large document of 350 pages which has one TOC at the begining.

I have more information to add to this document. So, for example in page 280 I have added 5 more pages. These pages need their own TOC. Now, I know that you use the bookmark switch (\b) to do this, which I have used.

The problem is, though I create the new TOC where I want it with the bookmark, the same heading styles will then show up in the first TOC. I have tried creating new heading styles and they to show up in the first TOC. I just want the new TOC to have different contents. I have aroud 14 more TOC to add to this document.

Can anyone advise? I though it was because I used the same Heading 1, Heading 2 styles etc. in both TOCs, however, I thought the bookmark would mean that the other TOC wouldn't pick up heading styles that are within the bookmark. Moreover, I have created completely new styles and they still show up!
