I am new to this forum but I am looking for your help and support.

I've looked into lots of different places and haven't found a solution.

I have a number of .wav files that need to be hyperlinked to in a document, in this case Excel but the issue is the same in Word. The problem is this, when the .wav file is played it consistently opens up in Sound Recorder but without a popup player. I would like it to open up in Windows Media Player so I have control over the playback

Is there a way to do this without changing the file format?
