I backed up the pst file and went on vacation. i backed it up to 3 places, or so I thought. When I came home, there was no new email! There was no email after July! So I went to another pst file and tried to open it from outlook.
I also use Carbonite, and I tried a restore. Well, I wound up with other dates that are newer, but nothing current.

My email is hosted by GoDaddy, and I can see and send email through their server. They checked it out and said everything's working on their end. They had me open Outlook and check each email address' attributes and send test messages. GoDaddy can see the test messages, so they said Outlook is working. I can send email from those addresses via GoDaddy, but not with Outlook!

But, when I open Outlook, I can't send or receive emails. I get these error messages:
Task (email name).com - Sending' reported error (0x8004010F) : 'Outlook data file cannot be accessed.'
Task (email name.com - Receiving' reported error (0x8004010F) : 'Outlook data file cannot be accessed.'


The newest file I found is early January.
I called Microsoft and they said they can fix it but it will cost $99. That seems steep.

Does anyone have a clue?
