Why is E3+C4+D4 not a formula?
E3 is your opening balance.
C4 is your first withdrawal - if any.
D4 is your first deposit - if any.
You seem to be hung up on your original formula. It does not work for you - forget it.
I have provided you with a solution AND A FORMULA - why do you not want to use it?
