You do not need a product key to download a trial version of Office. Product keys are only required for converting trial versions to licenced versions, or for installing a licenced version.

AFAIK, MS is now offering the Office 365/2013 download, but you can still get Office 2010 for trial use from places like: http://www.mytechguide.org/8040/down...ice-2010-free/
