Hi
Empty lines in Word will have a Paragraph mark assigned to them. You will see them when you click on the Show/Hide button.
If you want to remove blank lines in a Word document then follow these steps:
1. On the Home tab of your document click on the Replace option at the right hand side of the toolbar.
2. In the Find box enter "^p^p" without the quotes.
3. In the Replace With box enter "^p" without the quotes.
4. Then press Alt+A.
Do step 4 as many times as you need to until it find nothing to replace.
This will remove ALL black lines from your Word document.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
Tony
