Somehow I've lost almost all of my contacts in Outlook 2007 on my PC. The backup .pst file I have only will restore my emails, but no contacts info is restored.

I had been syncing my iPad with Outlook through iTunes before this problem happened. If I sync my iPad contacts with Outlook 2007 on my PC now via iTunes, will the contacts from my iPad be sent to Outlook on my PC, or will the the iPad contacts be wiped out and replaced with the greatly reduced amount of contacts from Outlook from the PC.

I don't want to take the chance of deleting my contacts on the iPad. I only want to sync the contacts from the iPad to Outlook on the PC, not from Outlook to the iPad.
