Default Outlook 2010 Tasks - deleted when complete

HI there.
using Outlook 2010, i can right click an email and move to tasks. Then i can set about answering things in order.
Once a task is marked complete, it goes into deleted items. This takes teh email with it, efectively removing all trace of that email from my system.

i need to keep the email in my inbox, but still turn the emails into tasks.
Is there a setting somewhere that i can change to send teh completed task to someone other then deleted items etc?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
