Leader Dots with Find & Replace Tool?
Fellow Forum Members,
I have a Word 2007 file containing 50 five-column tables. The third column requires I setup leader dots that hit a TAB Stop located at to the right edge of the third column.
To make the LEADER DOTS in each column3 row appear I need to hit the CNTRL+TAB buttons. The problem is that there are a total of 2,500 column3 rows. How can I use the Find & Replace tool to automatically insert 2,500 separate CNTRL+TAB operations so that the leader dots appear?
When I hit the CNTRL + * buttons, I noticed that inside each table cell there is a symbol that looks like a circle with four diagonal spikes. WORD doesn't allow one to select and copy this symbol and paste it in the FIND field located in the FIND & REPLACE tool. Is it possible to use this symbol inside the FIND field? If yes, I'm thinking it might be the key to automating the insertion of 2,500 separate CNTRL+TAB operations. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
