Unless you tell Word to hypenate the text (see
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/wo...010096395.aspx), it's options are limited. If you go to Word Options|Advanced> Layout Options, checking the 'Do full justification the way Wordperfect 6.x does' option will allow Word to reduce space sizes, where practical, to fit more words on a line.
