I have customized the ribbon in Excel 2007 and added a tab that will use some macros to read data imported from a web page. I saved the startup file in the C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Excel\XLST ART location. If I open excel from start menu I can see my customized ribbon which works fine. However, if I use the “Export to Microsoft Excel” option using internet explorer (IE9), the excel ribbon will not show my custom tab. Any thoughts on how to solve this issue will be greatly appreciated. JD.
