Yes, I am sorry to report that I just tried this:

Page [0-9]{1,3}

With "wildcards" checked.

Here is the result:

"Word has finished searching the document. The search item was not found."

This is, of course, pure crazy talk, since they are obviously right there, hundreds of them.

I am opening the text as UNICODE, Western when it asks me upon open. I see nothing but clear text, no trouble with viewing or altering the file in any other way.

This is proving to be a bit maddening, indeed.

I appreciate any and all suggestions and I thank you all for your time on this. Any other input that I should try?
