Sometimes when I paste text into Word from other applications it comes in as double spaced, even though it was single spaced at the source.

My problem is that I can't get rid of the double spacing. I've tried using the format/paragraph command but it shows it as single spaced. I've tried 'painting' a single-spaced format from another part of the document, but that doesn't work either.

Anyone know how to get rid of this double spacing?
