Well, this is the kind of thing that you have to dig into. Let me suggest:

1. Cut the table, paste it into a blank document, adn try printing the original doc to see if the "ghost"table is still there. If so, try opening the header and see if it got stuck in there somehow -- although, unless this is a one-page document section, it would tend to appear on other pages as well.


2. At the far right end of the Home tab of the ribbon. select the Select objects tool and see if that discovers an object on your page where the ghost table is (leaving the good table in the temp doc you created for it. If so, delete it. why it is not showing on screen could be due to a setting in your Set-up Options -- the first item in the "Show document content" section of the Advanced page.
