Use of word2010 equation editor does not underline when track changes are on (yet worked fine in word2003).

Word2010 with track changes on and track changes options/Markup Insertions set to Underline.

Insert/Equation and insert any item - fails to underline. Wondering if there is a solution? Thanks.
