I've been experiencing weird gluing behavior in Visio (2007 and 2010) when the ruler zero is changed. Gluing works as expected when the zero is at the default position (0,0). If the ruler zero is changed to any other value, shapes will only glue at one connection point.
Here's how to replicate the problem:
- Open a new drawing.
- Change the ruler zero to any value.
- Add several 2d shapes with multiple compatible connection points
- Try gluing the shapes together - does not work correctly
- Reset the ruler zeros and try gluing again - works as expected.
