The simplest way to do this is with a DOCPROPERTY field. You can make a custom document property to hold your information.

Otherwise, look into the STYLEREF field. If you put your information on say your cover page and format it with a unique character style (which may look the same as surrounding text), you can use the STYLEREF field to repeat that information wherever you want.

If the only reason for having unique headers/footers is so they can reflect the contents of the section, the STYLEREF field will do that as well in one header/footer continued through all your sections.
