We have an email account in outlook 2010 on a Win7 64 bit machine, that one day wouldn't open. We did a scanpst and it came back missing a lot of emails and all of the contacts and calendar gone. The account has roaming profiles on it. We took that off in order not to bring back the old pst, as outlook now puts its files in My Documents and we backup the email with pfbackup. The email was cleaned up and some things were recovered from other backups. The next day, after a restart, the email had reverted to what it was before it was cleaned up, then Outlook was restarted and it was back to the cleaned up version. What is causing this and how can it be stopped?
