I'm not sure I'm following. Are you saying you can't select the Normal Style? Or that nothing happens when you do? What happens to the text if you select it and press Ctrl-Spacebar?

If you could attach a document to a post (delete any sensitive data) containing examples of the affected content, I might be able to get a better idea of what the issues are. You can do this via the paperclip symbol on the 'Go Advanced' tab.
