I've been using ActiveSync to link my WM5 PDA with my XP PC (and my Google account too) for years.

Sometimes it failed to connect, but always resumed after a reboot of PC and/or PDA.

But since I've taken my PDA on holiday (which I have also been doing for years!) it will not connect. If I plug it into an unusual USB socket I get a pop-up that new hardware is found and ActiveSYnce tries to connect but still fails. I even deleted my device from ActiveSync but that has not helped.

Any ideas, please?
