Our office runs on XP. We are updating our computers to 7Pro and using the virtual xp, word 2000 to keep on track. We have a program that was written in word 2000 so we have to keep using. When xp virtual world gets done and I load word, Outlook 2000 will not retain the password to the e-mail account. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, no avail. I have changed from Internet Mail to Corporate, no avail. I went to Outlook Express and entered all the information into to set up an account, same thing happened, Virtual XP won't remember passwords in outlook 2000. I don't believe it is a program issue in Outlook, because the same thing happens in Express. Would appreciate any ideas? Our computers are hooked on a network, have a router, have IP address, connected to a server 2003 edition with a program in it. Again, I believe the problems are in XP Virtual?
