Thanks for the response. I don't have "Send to Bluetooth" as a Word addin (only as part of Windows). Could it be something to do with text to speech handling? (I don't have the TextAloud Word Addin installed, but obviously Word has its own tts command.) The only other (superficially meaningful) connection I can think of is the fact that the graphic content is always hit dramatically. (Acres of graphics vanishing without trace.)
