after doing a whole bunch of searching, and following microsoft's tips on saving headers and footers to your gallery (found here: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/wo...001226486.aspx ), i am absolutely stumped!!

On a new install on office 2007 on a new work computer, I am trying to save the company header/footer into word. It has been just fine on every other computer in the office (all 3 of them LOL) except this new one.

After selecting and saving the header to the gallery, everything appears as normal, but after closing and re-opening word my saved header and footer disappear.

basically they just won't save at all.

has anyone experienced this before, and found a fix?

It's extremely frustrating and i'm really hoping someone knows of a solution for this problem.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

PS. the computer is running windows 7 32bit, as are all computers in the office (requirement of the software we run )
