Default Emails being deleted

My company is running Small Business Server 2011 which also has our Exchange Server 2010 on it. The problem is we have several public emails that everyone has access to, in a few of these emails we had over a year of emails in the Inbox but then last week everything disappeared.

I thought I had resolved the problem but then after about 4-5 days later the emails that had been stored in there again disappeared.

Anyone know what this might be? Any help would be greatly appreciated. It's driving me insane!
