Default removing business contact manager

Recently, I began using Outlook and found it very good. Out of curiosity, I downloaded Business Contact Manager, but then found that it is not really of any use to me. In addition, whilst it is downloading and updating information, it appears to slow down everything else on my computer.

Can I easily remove, or at least disable, Business Contact Manager without affecting the operation of Outlook generally ? If so, I can't see where and how to do so at present. Any help would be appreciated.
