An easy macro? Depends on what you mean by easy. I don't have one on hand.

For anyone to assist you on this it will depend on which kind of checkbox you are using. Are you using the Word 2010 content control checkbox or the legacy form checkbox which requires you to protect the document for forms to activate the checkbox?
