This is a tough situation since there are a few different ways to accomplish what you are trying to do. Really what you need is to experiment with powerpoint a little if that really will not work I would hit youtube and look at some basic bullet point animations this way you can SEE how they are done rather than someone giving you a step by step tutorial that may not do exactly what you want.
