Default How to create calculated fields in Word

Hi,

I know how to do this in Access but for some reason I can't this to work in Word

I have created a simple form with [Number1] and [Number2]

I have created a [Total] field and selected Type as 'Calculation' and written the expression as =Number2-Number1 with the text as #,##0

The result remains as 0 - I'm not sure what I am doing wrong

Any help much appreciated
