SpiderTech, thanks for the reply.

I looked for Options > Contacts > Linking > Enable. What I have is
Tools > Options > Contact Options > Show Contact Linking on all Forms so, no that is not what I am looking for.

What I am trying to do is create a single link to a specific contact. As if I were creating a button (for instance)

As I have it now, I have several clients each in their own Shortcut group. This is what I do:

Add Shortcuts to the navigation pane
Add New Group
Right click on the group and add new shortcut. This gives me the choice of FOLDER to add as a shortcut. Here I add my clients email folder.

Next, I navigate to that clients folder on Windows Explorer and drag the clients work folder to the Shortcut group. If there is a particular application associated with that client (Excel spreadsheet) I would drag that link to the group.

Now, when I am working with a particular client, I have everything pertaining to them, all in one place. Well, not quite everything. I still have to go to the menu bar, type the client name into he Search Address Books field to get contact information.

If I add a shortcut in the conventional manner, I can only shortcut to the Contact FOLDER not the individual contact.

What I want to do, is have a link directly to that individual client in my shortcuts group. I do not know how to find a path to individual contacts.

If you can help, I would appreciate it.

thanks.
