I was just quoting my opinion though I know that is was a much requested feature for PowerPoint, I can assure you that many people edit and compare presentations side by side on two monitors though.
Google for PowerPoint Two Windows and I think you would find my opinion isn't unique! Not worth an argument though ;-)
